Sprouts! Partners with Haagen-Dazs
in an National Campaign to Help the Honey Bees

Sprouts! is proud to announce that it has partnered with
Haagen-Dazs in its national campaign, "Haagen-Dazs Loves Honey Bees."

On June 9, 2008
an insert printed on Sprouts! Bee Friendly seed paper will appear in Newsweek Magazine in major cities
across the U.S. This insert is an important part of
Haagen-Dazs's campaign to educate people about the disappearing honey bee, an
epidemic known as Colony Collapse Disorder.
Newsweek readers
around the country can tear the seed paper insert out of the magazine, plant
it, and grow flowers that will attract and provide food for honey bees along
with other pollinating species.

"We are excited to be involved in such a large effort to
educate the public about the importance of the honey bee and how their
disappearances effect the environment," said Quercioli. "It is a cause that is very close to us here
at Sprouts!"

Reported by: Jennifer Rivera
Sharon Quercioli has always been environmentally conscious. She used to run a recycling company, then she came up with this.
"Sprouts! was started with the idea of helping the environment and creating something beautiful," said Quercioli.
The idea quickly bloomed into a booming business.
"Sprouts!"
makes everything from greeting cards and bookmarks to favor boxes and
promotional items. But it's what's inside the paper that gets your
attention... click here to read more and view the video
